January 2022 Phase 6 COVID Policies

As of Jan 1, 2022, we will have updated policies to coincide with the current health pandemic concerns, and we will continue to do our part to keep our members and employees safe. Please keep in mind, we may make changes if needed. Here is our current updated policy and guidelines:

Phase 6 Reopening Plan

Step 1: Appointments

For all pool appointments you must call us for availability. To reserve your in-person class session, you can call or used our Clubsystem My Member Portal app and book it from there. Gym visit appointments are not required at this time, but are recommended if you plan to come in the last hour prior to closing time.

Classes

Check our website www.Shirlees.com for updated class schedule. Please reserve your class appointment through our app or call the front desk. Please note that some classes will be held at the Outdoor Pavilion or at the Group X Room. All indoor classes will required a face mask until further notice. All classes have a limited capacity, make sure you reserve your class time prior to coming to the gym. If you are interested in one-on-one water training program or personal training session, it is available for an additional charge. We must continue to practice social distancing and wear face masks indoors at all times. Masks are not required in the pool or at our outdoor fitness areas. We recommend that you consult your doctor prior to coming to the gym based on your health concerns. 

Lockers and Dressing Room are available during your gym visit. 

Shower is closed until further notice.

Jacuzzi is to be determined in March 2022. 

Sauna is limit to one person at a time. 

Both Jacuzzi (when open) and Sauna are available to you when you book your pool time only, see front desk for details. Please be courteous and limit your time so others can enjoy it as well.

Pool Capacity Max is 8. Pool reservation is required. Pool reservation time is limited to 1 hour.

Pool Class is limited to 12 people at this time, so please reserve accordingly or you are subject to a $10 for no show or cancellation fee. Pool class reservation is required 24 hrs prior, please do not come early to reserve you spot as there are members using their time at the pool an hour before and after.

Please note that we will implement a No Show Policy; if you book a class session, pool appointment, or a PT session and you cannot make it and you did not cancel it, you are subject to a $10 fee or be charged for a session. 

Water fountain is not available at this time, so please bring your own drinks preferably in a sealed container-plastic container, but not in a glass container please! Bottle water and bottle water service is available for sale. No outside food is allowed at this time.

Mon: 6:30am-1pm, 4-8pm
Tue: 8am-1pm, 4-8pm
Wed: 8am-1pm, 4-8pm
Thu: 8am-1pm, 4-8pm
Fri: 6:30am-1pm. 
Sat: 8am-1pm
Sun. Closed. 

Guests are not allowed to workout during Phase# 6 Reopening Plan, the gym is reserved for the Members only. However, guests can purchase a one-month membership at the front desk. We will re-evaluate our policy and make any new changes again by April 2022.

Step 2: Shower/ Sterile/ Sanitize Hands

We recommend that you shower at home and wear clean clothes prior to coming to the gym. Bring your face mask and wear it when you are in a common area. Always practice social distancing when necessary and sanitize and wash your hands often. This is a mindful habit to respect our members and employees, and to help prevent potential infection. Please do not bring in outside food at this time. We will provide you sanitation spray bottle and towels. 

Step 3: Pre-Health Screen- Cough/ Sniffles/ Fever/ Temp Check

Sanitize you hands prior to entering the gym. We will no longer take your temperature prior entering to the gym. If you find yourself coughing and sneezing excessively during your visit, we will ask you to go home and seek medical attention. Please advise, if you don’t feel well please don’t come to the gym, stay home and get better. Even though you may be fully vaccinated, you may have Covid and not know it! 

Step 4: Pick up towels and disinfectant spray in the designated area

You are required to clean all equipments prior and after usage including dumbbells, straps, balls or anything that you use to exercise with. 

Step 5: Leaving the Gym

At the end of your visit, please dispose towels and bottles in the designated area and sanitize your hands prior to exiting the gym.

These protocols are designed to protect our members and employees. We want to be sure that we did everything we can to provide you a clean, safe, healthy gym experience. It is hard to make these changes in this unprecedented time, but we feel that it’s better to be safe than sorry.  Thank you for your support.
